Brian
Ellis - The Interchange Group:
"The
Interchange Group has been constructed out of three small companies, and
as such it has had a major change to effect, particularly culturally -
every member of staff has had to learn new things, even the managers,
even the directors.
It
was in my analysis of the problem that I had that I recognised I'd got
no-one inside the company to help me to effect the cultural change that
was required to form a cohesive unit.
I
looked around and found within Act an organisation that I related to,
had sympathy and empathy with my requirements, and we've been able to
build a relationship so that from a small beginning, they're now instrumental
in most of the change functions that we carry out.
I've
found Act very good; I've found them very flexible, quick to understand
the problems and able to produce a programme of training and consultancy
which has been pragmatic. We've been pleased with what Act have done."
David
Wade - Marketing Manager:
"I
think I've been surprised and impressed at the way in which they were
able to come into what is our industry (we're specialists in customer
service solution provision) but really understand it from day one, and
I think that is the mix of people that they use, the mix of the consultants
that they have, there is a lot of experience in that team.
We
work very well with Act - it's more than just a supplier/customer relationship
- the key factor for us is the bespoke element they bring to whatever
they do. So they will actually be part of building training programmes,
building marketing programmes, considering our market and our market needs.
Therefore the whole process is much more of a partnership from start to
finish rather than a delivered product at the end of it. And I think in
that situation that the key thing is trust, and we've certainly been able
to trust their judgement from day one."
